Pierre Sang recently opened his restaurant in Paris and shares his taste for cooking with all those who want to discover the pleasure of “good food” and of sharing a meal.
Originally from South-Korea, Pierre-Sang was adopted at the age of seven. His love of cooking was given to him by his adoptive French family. This passion, nowadays, allows him to link his two cultures and to create as a result cosmopolite dishes composed of multiple flavours.
After a rich and eclectic early career in renowned restaurants in France, England and South-Korea, Pierre-Sang managed to reach the finals of Top Chef 2011 in France. He is a part of this new generation of young passionate chefs who want to make his restaurant unique.
Pierre-Sang surrounded himself with a team of young, competent and motivated team; who share his “culinary philosophy”: cooking as a way to open to the world.
Together, they want to share their ‘savoir faire’ and their passion for flavours.

Located in the heart of Paris and opened in early June 2012, the restaurant “Pierre sang in Oberkampf” is a place to share and to meet that cultivates the art of “good food”.
In an uncluttered setting, an open kitchen with movable elements allowing the customers to be at the heart of the preparation for a real interaction with the chef.
The concept? A modular space for culinary events or simple dinners but always with the same direction: quality allied to accessibility. A place that beyond its restaurant capabilities is a space for other types of creation as well; an idea incubator. On the menu, a sampling of tried and tested ideas (‘responsible’ food by associating neighbourhood shops and local produces, ephemeral restaurants, etc.), but also spotlighting forgotten parts of the cooking world (vegetarian cuisine, gluten free food, cooking for charities, etc.)
